Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, representing Virginia’s 4th congressional district, recently shared a series of tweets expressing her support for Senator Cory Booker. McClellan, who has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Donald McEachin, shared her insights on the ongoing events in the Senate, where Senator Booker made notable history.

On April 1, 2025, McClellan tweeted about Senator Cory Booker's extensive speaking effort in the Senate. "It’s been 23 long hours since @SenBooker started speaking as the conscience of Congress on the Senate floor and using his voice to stand up for the American people. Stay strong, Cory! Thank you for meeting this critical moment."

Later that evening, McClellan acknowledged the historical significance of Booker's speech. On April 1, 2025, she tweeted, "Today, we witnessed history as @SenBooker broke the record for the longest individual speech given on the U.S. Senate floor.
