Public Information Advisory - City Council Work Session

Richmond Fire Department  recently issued the following announcement.

WHAT:   Richmond City Council will hold a work session to continue discussions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the Richmond community and next steps concerning the American Rescue Plan Act.

WHEN:   Monday, August 2, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.

WHERE:  This work session will be held through electronic communication means pursuant to and in compliance with Ordinance No. 2020-093, adopted April 9, 2020, as most recently amended by Ordinance No. 2021-181, adopted June 28, 2021. This work session will be accessible through electronic communication means by the public and closed to in-person access by the public. Less than a quorum of Richmond City Council will assemble for this work session in the Council Chamber on the 2nd floor of City Hall at 900 East Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia 23219, and most Council members and other staff will participate by teleconference/videoconference via Microsoft Teams.

To access the work session, you have the following options:

  1. Watch the session online by computer, tablet or smartphone via Microsoft Teams by clicking here.
  2. Listen to the session audio only from your phone by dialing *67-804-316-9457 and when prompted, enter conference ID: 504 874 835#.
  3. Watch the session livestream at the following web address: https://richmondva.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.  
        (To access the meeting, find and click the link that reads, “In Progress” in the far right hand column entitled, “Video".)
