Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, currently serving Virginia's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has shared her views and initiatives through a series of tweets. McClellan, who has a rich background in education and public service, emphasizes key issues such as education, healthcare for premature infants, and recognition of fellow public servants.

On November 17, 2024, McClellan tweeted about her commitment to strengthening public schools. She stated: "As the daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter of educators, I know education is the key to economic opportunity, thriving communities, and a healthy democracy. That’s why I’ll always fight to strengthen our public schools." This statement was made during American Education Week.

Later that day on November 17, she addressed the issue of preterm birth rates in the United States. She tweeted: "Today is #PrematurityAwarenessDay. As the mom of a daughter born 9 weeks early, I take @MarchofDimes' recent report giving the U.S. a D+ on preterm birth rates seriously. That’s why I’m introducing a bipartisan measure this week to tackle this critical issue."

In another tweet on November 18, McClellan expressed gratitude towards fellow congresswoman Jennifer Wexton for her long-standing service. She wrote: "My friend @RepWexton has been a tireless champion for working families, human rights, and protecting children for over 20 years. Tonight I joined her friends, family and VA10 constituents in thanking her for her stellar public service."
