Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, representing Virginia's 4th district, recently took to social media to share her involvement in significant discussions and initiatives. On February 7, 2025, she posted about participating in a roundtable discussion hosted by Representatives Steny Hoyer and Gerry Connolly. The event focused on forming a unified response to what was described as the Trump Administration's "unprecedented assault on the federal workforce and services." "ICYMI: I joined a roundtable hosted by @RepStenyHoyer and @GerryConnolly with federal employee and civil service organizations to coordinate a united front against the Trump Administration’s unprecedented assault on the federal workforce and services."

Later that day, McClellan highlighted her support for women's heart health by participating in Wear Red Day. She emphasized the impact of cardiovascular disease as the leading cause of death among women and particularly noted its role in maternal mortality among Black women. She expressed her commitment to addressing these health issues through her work in Congress. "Today, I wear red for women’s heart health. Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. Cardiovascular disorders are the leading cause of maternal mortality for Black women. I’m working in Congress to reduce these risks."
