Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, representing Virginia's 4th district since 2023, recently shared a series of tweets addressing concerns about the current administration's policies. Known for her tenure in the Virginia House of Delegates and Senate, McClellan has been vocal about various issues affecting her constituents.

On February 7, 2025, McClellan expressed criticism of the Trump-Vance Administration. She stated that it had allowed "Elon Musk and his DOGE bros free rein over Americans’ Social Security numbers and banking information." She further noted that "@HouseDemocrats are fighting back."

Following this tweet, she encouraged her followers to "Read my statement below," directing them to a link for further details.

Later that day, McClellan highlighted her role within the New Democrat Coalition leadership. She announced their endorsement of two bills aimed at countering what she described as the Musk-Trump-Vance Administration’s attempts to initiate a trade war and infringe on privacy rights. She stated, "Today, we endorsed two bills to fight back against the Musk-Trump-Vance Administration’s efforts to spark a trade war, violate Americans’ privacy, and seize power."
