Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared insights and updates on various topics through her social media posts. McClellan, a prominent political figure with a background in law and a history of public service in Virginia, discussed education, public safety during inclement weather, and civil rights.

On February 12, 2025, McClellan tweeted about her meeting with the presidents of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Brightpoint Community College. She emphasized the significance of these institutions in shaping the workforce of tomorrow and their substantial economic impact on their communities. "Today, I met with the presidents of @VCU and @brightpointccva to discuss their federal priorities in building the workforce of tomorrow. Both institutions play a key role in the communities they serve while having a huge economic impact."

Later that day, she issued a reminder regarding road safety following recent snowfall. Although the snow had ceased, icy roads continued to pose hazards for pedestrians and drivers alike. She advised caution due to potential falling branches as well. " REMINDER: While the snowfall has stopped, the roads are still icy and pose a hazard to anyone walking or driving outside today. Drive safely and be mindful of falling branches!"

In another post from February 12, 2025, McClellan reflected on the enduring mission of the NAACP over its 116-year history. She acknowledged its pivotal role in striving for equality across racial lines since its inception in 1909 and highlighted its continued relevance amidst current societal challenges. "For 116 years, @NAACP has been on the front lines of the fight to make the ideals upon which this country was founded true for all Americans, regardless of race. The fight continues."
