Later that evening, McClellan highlighted specific repercussions of the administration's policies on veterans' services. She tweeted about how the "Trump Administration’s hiring freeze has already impacted our Veterans Affairs health centers and services," and reported that "they’ve purged 1,000 Veterans Affairs employees."
