Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several messages on February 17, 2025, through her social media account. Her posts covered topics ranging from historical reflections during Black History Month to advice for federal employees.

In one of her tweets, she encouraged followers to learn more about certain topics by providing a link for further information.

On the same day, McClellan highlighted the significance of Presidents’ Day coinciding with Black History Month. She noted that "Presidents’ Day falls during #BlackHistoryMonth, and the #BHM2025 theme focuses on labor." She emphasized learning about "the over 300 known enslaved men, women and children who built and staffed the White House," stating that their story is an integral part of American history.

Later that day, McClellan addressed concerns regarding the federal workforce amidst administrative changes. In her tweet, she advised civil servants to be aware of their rights and available resources as "the Trump Administration purges civil servants." She directed individuals to visit her webpage for additional information.
