On February 19, 2025, Congresswoman McClellan highlighted the impending winter storm in Virginia by referencing information provided by @NWSWakefieldVA. She warned that if former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk had their way, the National Weather Service (@NWS) might not exist, leaving families without crucial weather updates.

In another post from the same day, McClellan shared a link to an article in @virginianpilot, emphasizing how dismantling the National Weather Service would leave the public less informed and increase costs for families and businesses during significant weather events.

Later that day, Congresswoman McClellan tweeted about healthcare coverage in her district. She noted that 138,742 people are enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP in Virginia’s Fourth District, with nearly half being under 19 years old. She expressed concern over Republican budget cuts potentially putting these individuals at risk.
