Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, representing Virginia's Fourth District, recently shared several updates on her social media platform. These posts reflect her ongoing commitment to her role and highlight significant historical and legislative issues.

On March 7, 2025, Congresswoman McClellan directed followers to read her full release by providing a link in her tweet: "Read my full release here: https://t.co/uszhxbIyyL".

Later that day, she commemorated the second anniversary of taking her oath of office with a reflection on her responsibilities. In her post, she stated: "Two years ago today, I took my oath of office to represent Virginia’s Fourth District in Congress. The first part of that oath is a promise to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. I take that responsibility seriously."

In another post on March 7, 2025, McClellan acknowledged the historical significance of John Lewis's activism for voting rights. She remarked on past legislation efforts and expressed pride in supporting new measures: "OTD 60 years ago, John Lewis was beaten while marching in Selma for voting rights. In response, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act, which the Supreme Court gutted in 2013. I'm proud to cosponsor the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect the right to vote."
