Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 4th district since 2023, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her activities and achievements. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, McClellan has a background in law and politics, having served previously in both the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate.

On January 27, 2025, McClellan tweeted about her current week spent within her district. She stated: "This week, I’m in the district checking in with local government leaders on our shared priorities for our constituents. Today, I visited with leaders from Brunswick, Emporia, Greensville, Southampton, Surrey, and Sussex."

Later on January 28, 2025, McClellan reflected on an important milestone regarding women's rights. She wrote: "In 2020, Virginia became the 38th and final state needed to ratify the ERA. I was proud to help lead the fight to enshrine women’s equality in the U.S. Constitution." She also celebrated this achievement with activists from @VoteEqualityUS.
